Responsibilities:

As a Floor Staff / Cast Member, you will represent Regal by delivering excellent guest service, which includes selling tickets, managing concessions, and ushering. Availability to work on weekends is essential, with preference given to those who can also work weekday openings and/or closings.

Overview: Floor Staff members are categorized based on the specific needs of the theatre and employee availability, which may include variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly roles. The primary duty is to ensure that guests receive exceptional service. Responsibilities may include working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Floor Staff must embody Regal's mission and adhere to company policies, including:

  • Consistent and regular attendance
  • Managing emergency situations as required
  • Performing general cleaning tasks
  • Following the company dress code.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Box Office Responsibilities:

  • Operate the POS system, ensuring accuracy in cash handling, credit cards, gift cards, and redeemed tickets.
  • Promote the Premium Viewing Experience options.
  • Encourage participation in the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Ensure compliance with the MPAA rating system when selling tickets.
  • Respond to guest inquiries in alignment with our guest service philosophy.

Concession Responsibilities:

  • Manage the POS system and maintain accurate cash handling and inventory.
  • Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Prepare and clean all concession equipment.
  • Engage in suggestive selling techniques.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with break and meal period laws.
  • Maintain current alcohol certification and training where applicable.
  • Understand and comply with training materials on workplace conduct.

Usher Responsibilities:

  • Manage ticket collection and direct guests to their auditoriums.
  • Conduct inspections of bags and packages as necessary.
  • Assist with crowd control and help guests find seating.
  • Enforce the MPAA rating system.
  • Conduct in-theatre inspections to ensure quality and safety.
  • Report any issues or unusual occurrences to management.
  • Assist with in-auditorium concession sales as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness in auditoriums and common areas.
  • Support opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

Education/Experience:

Completion of the cast certification program is required, along with progress towards box office cashier certification.

Language Skills:

Strong public speaking abilities and effective listening skills are essential.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to identify problems, gather relevant information, and evaluate options.

Personal Skills:

Excellent communication skills with guests and team members are required.
