About the Role

We're seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in forecasting and optimisation to help us optimize our investment in acquiring and reactivating eaters. In this role, you'll contribute directly to revenue growth by applying ML & time series forecasting to produce our bottom-up subscriber growth forecasts, covering new and resurrected subscribers, growth marketing, and discounts.

  • Develop predictive models for yearly, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily forecasts across media channels (e.g., paid search, social, TV). Combine error analysis with in-depth insights about customer demand to develop and fine-tune forecasts. Success will be measured by forecast accuracy and ability to support company budgeting and scenario planning.
  • Create and manage discount optimization models by category and channel, applying the model to recommend discount optimisation strategies. Analyze model effectiveness against actual outcomes, identify gaps, and recommend adjustments. Success will be measured by improved discount ROI and alignment with overall growth and financial objectives.
  • Analyze channel performance, mta inputs conduct incrementality tests, and develop regression models and baselines for spend optimization. Deep dive into trials, acquisition history, conversion rates, discounts, and offers, and marketing strategies to deliver the insights the growth team needs to improve budget efficiency and alignment budgets with CookUnity's annual goals. Success will be measured through improvements in incremental revenue and CAC.

Key Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar domain.
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing data analytics.
  • 3+ years experience with multi-touch attribution.
  • Experience working with media mix modeling, marketing measurement and attribution, targeting, creative optimization, online purchase funnel optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, regression models, etc.

Compensation:

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. The estimated salary for this position is $170,000-$190,000 USD annually.
