We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Arizona. This is a travel assignment opportunity that requires a high level of expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Job SummaryThis Perioperative Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the pre and post-operative settings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and be certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the pre and post-operative settings
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Manage patient flow and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Perioperative setting
- Active AZ license or compact
- Ability to work variable shifts, including call and weekends
