Job Summary
St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our interdisciplinary care team. As a valued member of our team, you will provide quality patient care, work under RN supervision, and focus on safe and timely documentation of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care, including bathing, nail/skin care, dressing/undressing, dental care, and other personal hygiene while maintaining a sanitary and orderly environment.
- Offer positive, respectful, and confidential patient/family communication.
- Take and record vital signs, and assist with self-administered medications.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping and feeding the patient as needed.
- Assess and report patient's condition and changes to the RN Case Manager.
- Assist in ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, and support a complete range of motion and other therapy activities.
