While you excel individually, you understand the strength of a cohesive team. The Clinical Float Pool Travel Program is an integral part of Intermountain Healthcare.

Travel assignments span various locations, offering opportunities in units such as Critical Care, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency Services, and Operating Rooms. All assignments follow a structured 14-week rotation with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Shift Details:
PRN, Night shifts

Work Schedule:
Full-time hours during a 3-month assignment, with a minimum expectation of 2-3 assignments annually. Compensation varies based on location and specialty, with current pay rates ranging from $53 to $60 per hour, adjusted quarterly. Housing assistance is available for assignments located over 50 miles from the care site.

Minimum Qualifications:
We prioritize people over resumes, yet we uphold high standards. The following qualifications are essential:
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year in a specialty nursing role.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant states.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications (ACLS/NRP/PALS) may be required based on unit specifications.

Physical Requirements:

The role necessitates the ability to see and interpret information, labels, and patient needs, operate medical equipment, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Frequent computer use for documentation and medication preparation is expected. The RN must be capable of lifting and moving patients and equipment, navigating busy environments, and standing for extended periods.
