Nurse Educator Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Educator to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assess educational needs in clinical areas and develop targeted educational programs to address these needs.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines to inform educational content.
  • Design and deliver educational content to adult learners, including in-service training and just-in-time training on patient care units.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of learning activities and assist in the development of the overall education plan.
  • Collaborate with nurse leaders to provide educational support and resources to staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient and guest needs in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing and 3-5 years of full-time hospital-based nursing experience.
  • Professional licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia and BLS certification.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and the art of apology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in patient care in a variety of clinical specialties.
  • Critical Care Nursing or Emergency experience.
  • Instructional experience delivering educational content to adults.
