Job Summary:

A leading packaging company, Print Connections, is seeking an experienced Die Cutter to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for operating cutting presses to produce high-quality cartons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in press make ready, adjusting settings to accommodate new product sheets and ensuring machine speeds and customer standards are maintained.
  • Load dies into cutting presses, weighing up to 150 lbs, and assist with press operation.
  • Inspect quality of each load run, checking random sheets to ensure quality and flagging defective materials.
  • Make corrections and adjustments as needed to maintain production efficiency.
  • Remove cut loads from press and maintain written records of production, including waste, production time, and waiting time.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow job jacket instructions.
  • Knowledge of safety devices and procedures in the area.
  • Coordination and physical ability to perform job safely and quickly.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Prefer working knowledge of cutting presses and mechanical aptitude.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to tolerate repetitious work and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to keep up with machine speeds and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as requested.
