We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Concentra Career Choice in Reno, NV. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

**Job Summary:**

  • Perform routine x-ray examinations and support medical procedures under the supervision of the treating clinician.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during radiologic procedures.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient x-ray visits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.

**Responsibilities:

Radiologic Technologist Duties
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process, positioning body parts, and ensuring patient care and safety.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to take x-rays following established requirements and regulations.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to Center Operations Director.
  • Maintain all x-ray equipment, including calibration, QA/QC procedures, and record keeping.
Medical Support Specialist Duties
  • Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
  • Assist providers during examination and treatment.
  • Prepare and assist clinicians with procedure setup and injury care.
  • Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Dispense medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices.
  • Maintain supplies, clean rooms, and equipment.
  • Notify supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly or supplies are needed.

**Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
