Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
  • Work within established policies and procedures, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTB).
  • Minimum of one year of hospital department experience in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Ability to accurately complete sonography requisitions and operate office equipment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
