At Alyeska Resort, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders. Coordinate resources, materials, and equipment procurement to ensure timely project execution.
- Site Management: Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Team Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, subcontractors, and employees, ensuring work is performed to high standards. Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure workmanship and materials meet project specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and address deficiencies proactively.
- Client Communication and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and budgetary matters. Address client concerns or requests promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Certification in construction management or related field (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour Certification) is a plus.
