We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school district in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This position is a full-time opportunity for the 24/25 school year.
Job DescriptionOverview
We are hiring a passionate SLP to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students, promoting effective communication skills and academic success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of speech and language development and be able to create personalized treatment plans.
- Evaluate students for speech and language disorders using comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific student needs.
- Deliver SLP services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to ensure seamless support for students.
Requirements
- Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active SLP License in good standing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
