Job Summary:
As a Youth Counseling Therapist, you will provide counseling, case management services, and crisis intervention to youth and their families. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess and diagnose mental health and substance abuse disorders, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide case management services to support consumers in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and diagnose mental health and substance abuse disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address consumer needs
- Provide case management services to support consumers in achieving their goals
- Engage in ongoing evaluation of clinical practice and services rendered to consumers
- Meet targeted billing units per month to support funding for services
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance team collaboration and professional development
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Eligibility for supervised residency towards LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse disorders, counseling theories, and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Mount Rogers Community Services offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
