As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dental office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient screenings and assessments to identify oral health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide comprehensive teeth cleaning services, including removing plaque and applying preventative materials, to promote optimal oral health.
  • Collaborate with dentists to diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions, such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis.
  • Take digital x-rays and dental impressions to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Chart patient observations, comments, and recommended treatments to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Monitor and maintain dental supply inventory to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Educate patients, particularly children and parents, on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene education program.
  • Valid Dental Hygiene license.
  • Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist, with a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
