We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

This is an IN-PERSON role that involves reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal, performing focused physical exams on each Veteran, and documenting exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.

The Nurse Practitioner in this position will NOT make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.

This role is limited to performing Disability Assessments on Veterans only and does not involve treating or prescribing medication.

A typical day for this role consists of conducting Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions, and be proficient in using a computer.
