Job Summary:

  • Tally lumber units accurately by piece count, specie, grade, and size in a safe productive manner.
  • Bands lumber for shipment according to company specifications.
  • Assists with inventory management and maintains accurate records.
  • May operate forklift to replenish supplies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; two to five years related sawmill/planer experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
