As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to those who require attention for acute brain injuries, respiratory assistance, or special monitoring. Our team approach ensures that patients receive comprehensive care, and we are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team.

About the Unit

The HICU is a 20-bed unit that can accommodate up to 40 patients. Our team members are outgoing and positive, utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed, including charge nurse duties.
Requirements

We are seeking a LPN with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest and IV Pump systems.What We Offer
