MITRE is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team of experts in data science. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Our team is dedicated to using data science to drive innovation and improve outcomes. We work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from data visualization and reporting to predictive modeling and machine learning. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other data scientists and analysts to develop new tools and techniques.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about data science and has a strong background in statistics and machine learning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop data-driven insights to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data science and analytics
  • Strong background in statistics and machine learning
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Data Science or related field
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
