Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at C0007 Franciscan Health Lafayette. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images.
Requirements
  • Certified MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience.
  • Breast MRI experience is required.
  • Valid ARRT-M License and ISDH Tech License.
  • Proficient in general MRI procedures and breast MRI experience is needed.
Work Environment
  • Work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department with a team of experienced professionals.
  • Operate in a safe and clean environment with access to state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with GE MRI equipment.
