Job Opportunity

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a renowned institution in Southern California, is seeking a skilled Per Diem Department Assistant to join their Diagnostic Radiology team. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist technologists, nurses, and physicians with diagnostic imaging and/or other exams
  • Escort patients to and from imaging areas
  • Prepare imaging equipment and associated rooms for exams
  • Prepare patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Notify the technologist, radiologist, and clinical team when patients are ready for exams
  • Place reminder calls to patients and assist with scheduling as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment preferred
