Risk Management Professional - Stabilization Services

In this challenging role, you will provide high-level support to individuals struggling with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders in Muskegon County. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping them navigate crises and achieve stability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern and develop targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to create personalized service plans that address unique needs and circumstances
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of services provided, including progress notes and outcome measurements
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field; 2 years experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders, and experience through crisis intervention and community engagement; OR 5 years experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders, and experience through crisis intervention and community engagement
  2. Familiarity with community resources and referral networks essential for connecting clients with necessary services
  3. Possess a valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation to travel throughout Muskegon County
Work Environment:

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with complex needs and their families

Compensation:

$49,000 - $63,000 per year, based on experience, reflects the competitive salary range for this position in Muskegon County
