Job Summary

We're seeking a proactive and self-motivated Lighting Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll work closely with senior designers to develop innovative lighting concepts and designs for a wide range of projects. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of lighting concepts into overall project plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lighting designs that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with senior designers to develop innovative lighting concepts and designs.
• Conduct research on lighting technologies, products, and industry trends to stay up-to-date on the latest developments.
• Prepare compelling project presentations and documentation to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Coordinate closely with the design team to ensure successful realization of the design vision.
• Stay abreast of advancements in lighting technology and design trends to provide valuable insights.
• Interface with other disciplines involved in the design team to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in lighting design, with a proven portfolio in various project settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in lighting design software: AGi32, Autodesk Revit, Rhinoceros, ALFA, Climate Studio, Grasshopper.
• Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools: Bluebeam, Photoshop, InDesign, Excel.
• Excellent visual and spatial awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design trends.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations related to lighting design, and basic knowledge of electrical systems.

Essential Requirements

• Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient lighting practices
• Experience using Revit and AGI32 required

Salary Range

Benchmark salary $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually
