Job Summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment to patients, as well as psychiatric consultation and diagnosis to patients in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of inmates referred by medical and clinical services staff.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and individual and group therapy.
  • Collaborate with site staff to provide clinical direction and supervision, and participate in training and education programs.
  • Approve and sign treatment plans, and monitor their implementation and efficiency.
  • Provide in-service education to site staff as needed, and attend training and meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of medical school with completion of an appropriate psychiatric residency.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Colorado.
  • Current DEA number.
