About the Opportunity
  • Perform comprehensive medical assessments on United States Veterans through a secure Web Portal.
  • Review behavioral health records and complete thorough assessments on each veteran.
  • Document exam findings and complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ's) through the Web Portal, providing detailed information needed by the VA.

The Clinical Psychologist will not make disability determinations, as this is the responsibility of the VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess 4 Veteran records per day on average, ensuring thorough and accurate assessments.
  • Document exam findings and complete DBQ's within 24 hours after an exam, meeting the VA's requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements to maintain licensure, ensuring the highest level of expertise.
Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted license within the state where exams are performed, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • PhD or PsyD degree from an APA Accredited school, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with the VA.
  • Reliable laptop and proficiency in electronic documentation, ensuring seamless data management.
