As a Housekeeper III Team Lead, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, prioritizing tasks and assigning duties as needed.
  • Ensure the efficient distribution of supplies and equipment to staff members.
  • Communicate effectively with the switchboard and housekeeping department staff via radio communication.
  • Perform cleaning, floor care, and project assignments within designated areas or as directed by supervisors.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of unit rooms and spaces, including horizontal and vertical surfaces, cubicle curtains, and fixtures.
  • Remove trash and linen from all areas of the hospital and clean patient rooms and bathrooms within a 30-minute turnaround time.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of department policies and procedures, as well as efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, special needs, spills, and other situations.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition.
  • Interact hospitably, cheerfully, and supportively with staff, patients, visitors, and work colleagues.
  • Adhere to departmental attendance, break, behavior, dress, and safety codes.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience providing quality housekeeping services in a hospital or institutional environment.
  • High school education or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and write, with excellent interpersonal skills.
