Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team at Joseph & Nace Optometric Corporation. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working closely with patients to understand their needs, and helping them select the perfect eyewear and contact lenses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet with patients to discuss their eyewear needs and preferences.
  2. Make personalized recommendations on frames and lenses, taking into account facial measurements and individual requirements.
  3. Prepare and process orders for the ophthalmic lab, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  4. Explain pricing, insurance, and payment options to patients in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Operate with the utmost confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an optometrist's office is highly desirable.
  • Current license to practice in the state of California.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
