We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our medical team at Fulton County Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using radiographs/computerized tomography and other modalities to assist in the detection of various medical conditions, diagnosis and treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using radiographs/computerized tomography and other modalities.
- Assist in the detection of various medical conditions, diagnosis and treatments.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including stationary, mobile, and CT devices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols.
- Retrieve and return patients to and from the Radiology Department.
- Work assigned shift and take call on scheduled basis.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and Arkansas Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License.
- Good working knowledge of anatomy, understanding the principle of physics, electricity, radiation safety, and methods of exposure to obtain clearly defined films.
- Ability to operate, PACS, portable x-ray, Digital T-Rad room and CT scanner.
- Knowledge of patient care, sterile techniques, and the ability to deal with all types and conditions of patients.
