At Shaner Hotel Group, we are seeking a detail-oriented and hard-working individual to join our team as a Floor Houseperson.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and Maintenance
  • Clean hotel public areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and adhering to established protocols.
  • Report any maintenance deficiencies and handle guest requests or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
  • Adhere to all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security protocols.
  • Maintain storage closet par levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Participate in additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Minimum one year of cleaning experience; previous hotel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety procedures.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
