Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Ambulatory Specialty Lead who will play a pivotal role in supporting healthcare providers by preparing patients for medical evaluations, conducting assessments, and managing telephone triage. Collaborating closely with the clinic administrator, this position ensures the successful execution of NHMG objectives, organizes and oversees the clinical setting, and coordinates teams to guarantee effective patient care within physician practices.

The Registered Nurse acts as a leader within the healthcare team at Novant Health, fostering genuine, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. This role involves collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, delegate, and evaluate tailored care plans that promote optimal health outcomes or create an environment that allows team members to engage meaningfully with patients and families. Utilizing the best scientific evidence and compassion, the Registered Nurse guides patients through their health journeys, accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and delivery of care in line with current policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the relevant state is required.
  • Essential Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication abilities, leadership, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in operating a personal computer.
