Job Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing approved safety equipment and following all instructions.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues without direct supervision, and perform repairs and upgrades as needed.
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Contact equipment manufacturers for technical guidance as required.
- Perform regular PMs and general maintenance tasks.
- Apply general mechanical knowledge and skills to read and understand blueprints, electrical diagrams, and mechanical schematics.
- Disassemble and diagnose mechanical failures, and perform necessary repairs without direct supervision.
- Install and maintain Trystar equipment, and apply general plumbing and electrical skills to maintain equipment and facilities.
- Assist outside contractors with repairing and installing machinery.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, including repair and replacement of airlines, air fittings, valves, and cylinders.
- Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Maintain a neat and clean working area, and inventory and control stock of supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Two years of technical training in industrial maintenance or building repair and maintenance, and four years of field experience as an Industrial Maintenance Associate. Or eight years of field experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
- Journeyman certification preferred but not required.
- Considerable experience in one or more of the following fields: HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or industrial/commercial equipment repair.
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English.
- Expertise with operating power tools.
- Must be able to safely perform job responsibilities.
- Must be flexible in work hours.
- Must participate in on-call rotation.
