We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine and Oncology departments at VCA Animal Diagnostic Clinic-Dallas. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Assist attending veterinarians with physical exams, routine procedures, and medication dispensing
  • Monitor anesthesia for procedures such as endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and CT scans
  • Provide compassionate nursing care for all hospital patients
  • Manage client relations and appointment schedules
  • Handle, administer, and dispose of hazardous drugs
  • Maintain detailed and legible medical records
  • Perform radiograph positioning and acquisition, including safety requirements and PPE
  • Acquire and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue samples
  • Fulfill and dispense medications under veterinarian's supervision
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) preferred
  • 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Passion for Veterinary Medicine
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete medical and administrative tasks
  • Positive, motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
