Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment and execution of supply chain enhancement projects, focusing on the design and implementation of material flow and storage solutions utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Establish and communicate material flow standards, addressing both internal and external challenges.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and enhance material flow from suppliers to production and customers.
- Support the adoption of Lean Manufacturing practices while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee logistics ramp-ups for new programs, both systematically and physically.
- Conduct logistics cost assessments, time studies, and financial analyses.
- Travel requirements: 15% travel, both domestic and international.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in:
- Developing tools for monitoring supply chain performance, including forecasting and database management.
- Conducting comparative analyses of KPIs to enhance logistics management platforms.
- Leading logistics engineering design efforts, including validation and layout planning.
- Training staff on ERP system functionalities.
- 1-2 years of experience in:
- Creating automotive manufacturing facility layouts in compliance with industry standards using relevant software.
Essential Skills:
- Familiarity with IATF16949 standards
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- Proficient in SAP ERP system
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
