Job Title: Histotechnologist

OnSpot Dermatology is seeking a skilled Histotechnologist to join our team in Fort Myers. As a Histotechnologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to support our dermatology practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tissue sections for examination using complex techniques and procedures.
  • Cut and stain frozen sections for rapid diagnosis during surgery.
  • Prepare slides for filing and organize slide storage.
  • Monitor and stock supplies, maintain and clean equipment.
  • Adhere to compliance and complete compliance training.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ASCP HT/HTL, Florida HT/HTL license required.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail, manage multiple responsibilities, and work as a team player.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to remain compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA requirements.
Compensation:

Pay starting at $30/hour.
