The Fort Vancouver Regional Library Business Office is seeking a highly skilled Collection Development Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the collection department's efforts to provide high-quality services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental priorities, plans, policies, and procedures
  • Evaluate library collection services needs and ensure alignment with the library's vision and goals
  • BUILD COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH STAFF IN A HIGHLY COLEGIAL, INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENT BASED ON CUSTOMER-FIRST INITIATIVES
  • Analyze system service requirements and recommend changes to improve operational efficiency and better serve customer needs

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent
  • Minimum of three to five years of related work experience
  • Minimum of two to five years of supervisory experience
