Job Summary

The Project Architect will be responsible for performing senior-level architectural design, documentation, and project management activities. This role will involve communicating and developing designs with firm principals, clients, and other stakeholders, as well as coordinating the preparation and review of final drawings, specifications, and documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce presentation documents, including designs and specifications.
  • Coordinate the preparation and review of final drawings, specifications, and documents, ensuring accuracy and coordination among disciplines.
  • Oversee the production and delivery of a full set of Construction Documents and Specifications.
  • Check CDs for completeness, accuracy, and coordination among disciplines.
  • Coordinate with consultants on building elements and solutions.
  • Assist clients in the bidding process by preparing bid documents, answering Contractor's RFIs, and coordinating the preparation of addenda to the bid documents.
  • Manage project schedules and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communicate with team members of other disciplines to answer questions or resolve significant problems regarding construction documents.
  • Participate in the development of budget and fee proposals.
  • Provide mentoring, management, and drawing supervision of junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Professional Degree in Architecture.
  • Licensure or minimum 8 years work experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit, MS Office.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite a plus.
  • Proficiency in Rhinoceros a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management.
