Job Overview

The Matian Firm, APC is seeking a highly skilled Immigration Paralegal to join our esteemed USCIS department. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Legal Supervisor and be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and case management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file immigration applications with USCIS, including I-130, I-485, N-400, and other relevant forms.
  • Assist in the preparation of forms, letters, documents, and correspondence for attorney review.
  • Maintain open communication with clients to provide timely case status updates and exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize case management systems, such as CLIO and Airtable, to oversee the status of cases.
  • Make regular updates to our case management systems, including client information, case tracking information, and client communications.
  • Complete assignments and communicate case status to the Legal Supervisor.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and initiative concerning case assignments.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Immigration Law.
  • Knowledge of USCIS filings, including I-130, I-485, VAWA, N-400, N-600, I-131, TPS Renewal, I-589, I-765, I-929, I-290B, and I-601.
  • Experience with Case Management Software.
