Job Summary

As a Licensed Optician at LensCrafters, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing expert optical services. This is a full-time position within the Macy's department store in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convey a commitment to providing unparalleled customer service by executing our CEE Service Model through Connect, Explore, and Exceed.
  • Support problem-solving and troubleshooting, engaging patients, customers, and fellow associates with technology to enhance experiences.
  • Deliver the Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision, celebrating LensCrafters' advantages and setting the tone for customer service.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems, exploring underlying causes and developing long-term solutions.
  • Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses tailored to their lifestyle, prescription, and budget needs.
  • Show patience and courtesy, tracking down answers to unfamiliar questions or products.
  • Collaborate with co-workers, sharing expertise and knowledge to drive success.
  • Educate customers on LensCrafters' guarantees and services, including eyewear care tips, adjustments, and warranties.
  • Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
  • Operate the Point of Sale terminal with accuracy, collecting proper payment and retaining change.
  • Proficiently use Order Tracker to support customers' orders and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State licensure or certification as an optician.
  • Optical dispensing experience.
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Awareness of current fashion trends.
  • Sales skills and comfort with technology.
