Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Soliant Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support the delivery of speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
About the RoleThis is a full-time onsite position available for the 24/25 School Year. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and be passionate about making a difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist SLPs in conducting assessments and screenings of students with speech and language disorders.
- Implement therapy plans and interventions as directed by the SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Document and track student progress and provide regular updates to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred).
- Current SLPA licensure or certification in Texas.
- Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
