Dishroom Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Busser to join our IHOP team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

• Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitized, and the kitchen is organized and tidy.
• Bussing Tables: Collect soiled plates and flatware from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Stocking and Restocking: Maintain the availability of clean dishes, utensils, and equipment at all times.
• Cleaning Kitchen Appliances and Machines: Clean and sanitize all kitchen appliances and machines to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean environment.
• Supporting Team Members: Assist other team members with tasks as needed, such as unloading and storing deliveries.
• Adhering to Food Safety Procedures: Follow all food safety procedures and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
• Trash and Recycling: Take out the trash and recycling, and rinse garbage cans as needed.

• Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
• Task Prioritization: Be able to prioritize tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Have knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations.
• Physical Demands: Be able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift, lift at least 50 pounds, and have full mobility of hands and arms.
