Job Opportunity

Shady Grove Fertility, a leading fertility center in the United States, is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-volume phlebotomy and maintain blood drawing station supplies
  • Assist with clinical care of fertility patients, including semen washes and IUI setup
  • Ensure lab specimens are sent to the correct labs and provide patient/couple counseling
  • Communicate physician orders and instructions, and provide pre and post-op education
  • Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance, utilizing the computer for data entry and labeling
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families
  • Work independently to achieve program goals and promote excellence in customer service
Requirements
  • Strong phlebotomy skills and high school diploma; Associates degree preferred
  • Completion of a formal MA program and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, with strong attention to detail and computer application skills
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
