Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with patients of varying ages and abilities, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer direct speech therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician and in accordance with the Plan of Care.
  • Develop engaging exercises and activities to use during speech sessions with patients.
  • Provide counseling and consultations for new patients and their family members.
  • Create goals and objectives for patients to work toward and identify areas of progress and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and provide regular updates to healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Therapy and Licensed in the State of Texas.
  • Proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
  • Master's degree in speech therapy is required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
  • Experience working with sensitive and personal patient records and information.
