Detail-Oriented, Collaborative, & Results-Driven Are you ready to be part of a team that exhibits these qualities and more? BAE Systems Intelligence & Security (I&S) Sector is seeking a Java Programmer to join our agile team that protects and supports those who protect us.

The NGA Gateway West team is looking for a skilled Java Programmer to support the warfighters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and sustainment of modified or newly created software, including updating executable code and source code.
  • Conduct test and evaluation activities for software releases.
  • Coordinate and support deployment of software, collect user comments and feedback to provide to customers.

Requirements:

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance mandatory.
  • 3 years of experience in Software Development and systems testing.
  • Proficiency with JAVA programming.
  • Experience with PHP, JBoss, Tomcat, Linux, Javascript, ColdFusion, and XSLT programming languages.
  • Understanding of developing web-based systems from dynamic results of a relational database.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team (as needed).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use time-management skills to balance competing priorities and deliver products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, AZURE, etc).
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in an associated technical discipline or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience/familiarity with reading, writing, debugging, updating (maintenance release/updates), and fixing custom software.
  • 3 years of software development experience working with NGA and Mission Partner Programs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Tool suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Pay Information:

Full-Time Salary Range: $191,070

Please note that this range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
