Job Summary
We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should be licensed and have valid certification as a BCBA. New graduates are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Analysis assessments and attend IEP meetings
- Supervise Behavior Implementation Aides according to IEP and on an as needed basis
- Work with students with various cognitive, neurological, and/or physical disabilities and maladaptive behaviors
- Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the identification, evaluation, and placement of students into special education programs
- Complete FBA Reports and the Individual Education Plan sections in the appropriate data-base
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other required documents
- Travel to various sites
- Comply with policies established by federal and state laws and school district guidelines and regulations
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, students, and parents regarding the accomplishment of therapy goals and needs of the student
Requirements
- Master's Degree in ABA or related field
- CA state BCBA license
