Position Overview:
As a Traveling Medical Physics Specialist, you will be engaged in providing expert radiological physics support within the Radiation Oncology Department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the operational integrity of equipment through rigorous quality assurance and control measures.
- Utilize clinical expertise in radiation oncology to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Document and monitor therapeutic applications to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Physicist in delivering specialized brachytherapy services, including high dose rate and prostate seed implantation.
- Uphold all physics functions and operations to meet state and regulatory requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $5,329
- Pay Breakdown: $90.00/hr taxable, with additional stipends for housing, travel, and compliance reimbursement.
- Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan, providing flexibility to meet individual needs.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in medical physics or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology, with a focus on clinical applications of medical physics, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy, and Prostate Seed Implants.
- Valid Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB) License.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- ABR (American Board of Radiology) Certified or Eligible.
