About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Medicine Specialist to join our team at VCA American River Animal Hospital in Orangevale, California. Compensation Package: The annual salary for this position is estimated to be between $66,560 and $180,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, and access to ongoing education and training opportunities.

Responsibilities: As a Veterinary Medicine Specialist at VCA American River Animal Hospital, your primary responsibilities will include providing medical care and treatment to small animals, performing routine procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver world-class medicine. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, communicating effectively with clients, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent, and be licensed to practice in California or eligible to obtain licensure. A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics is essential. Experience working in a fast-paced animal hospital setting is preferred.
