Job Summary

Granite Automotive is seeking a reliable and experienced Automotive Lot Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our vehicle lot, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Wash, clean, and dry all new and used vehicles regularly to maintain their appearance and condition.
  • Inventory Management: Rotate all vehicle line positions to give an appearance of freshness to inventory, and remove vehicles sold from the line and replace them with new units.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring vehicles are properly displayed and maintained, and by being available to answer customer questions and concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks: Fill all newly sold vehicles with gas, check-in vehicles off of transport, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain dealership premises, including but not limited to weeds, litter, cigarette butts, etc., and ensure that all employees and customers are aware of and follow company safety policies and practices.
Requirements
  • Automotive Knowledge: General knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is required.
  • Driver's License: A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record are necessary.
  • Physical Abilities: Manual dexterity, good judgment, and the ability to lift to 75 lbs are required.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees is essential.
