About the Position

We're looking for a skilled Precision Instrument Technician to join our team. As a Precision Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and repair of our precision instruments, including solid-state laser devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test precision instruments, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instruments, identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement test fixtures, equipment, and procedures to support engineering and operations functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and product improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in precision instrument assembly and testing, preferably with solid-state lasers.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of adequate policies and procedures for controlling laser hazards and high-voltage hazards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • B.S. in Physics, Mechanical, or Optical Engineering, Master's Degree preferred.

Compensation Package: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
