Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation
    • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals
    • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and functional abilities
  • Patient Education and Support
    • Provide education and training to patients and their families on self-care management and Activities of Daily Living
    • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration
    • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Graduate of an AOTA-approved occupational therapy program
    • State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Certifications and Experience
    • Registered with NBCOT
    • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
