Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our fleet of trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engines, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and equipment
  • Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
  • Use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain equipment and machinery
  • Test drive trucks and buses to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are working properly

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Knowledge of International ProStar and Cummins engines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
