The U.S. Army is seeking a skilled Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for supervising and performing maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and associated items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain wheeled vehicles, their associated trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
  • Inspect, service, maintain, repair, replace, adjust, and test wheeled vehicles and material handling equipment systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Service automotive electrical systems, including the wiring harness, and starting and charging systems.
  • Perform wheeled vehicle recovery operations.
Requirements
  • Must be between the ages of 17-34.
  • Must have a GED or High School Diploma.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder.
  • Must meet Army Height and weight standards.
Training and Development

As a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, you will receive 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instructions. This training will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
