We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to serve as a Youth Liaison for the Kickapoo Native Connections Program.

Job SummaryThis full-time position plays a key role in coordinating summer activities for our young community members, fostering a sense of belonging, identity, and pride among the Kickapoo youth.
Main Responsibilities- Program Coordination: Coordinate and implement summer activities for youth, including camps, workshops, and cultural events.
- Community Engagement: Work closely with the Unity Group to support and enhance group activities, fostering leadership and teamwork among participants.
- Resource Development: Engage with community partners and stakeholders to secure resources, support, and participation in youth programs.
- Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and role model for youth participants, promoting positive behavior, cultural pride, and community involvement.
- Cultural Familiarity: Demonstrated familiarity with and respect for Kickapoo culture and traditions.
- Youth Experience: Experience in coordinating or leading youth activities and programs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with team members and community partners.
The ideal candidate must be available to work full-time from May 13 until August 2 and possess a deep understanding of and commitment to our cultural values and community goals.
